Late Night with the Devil has haunted me ever since I saw it in theaters weeks ago. Iβve heard valid criticism of it not committing to its found footage conceit, how successful the third act was or was not, but literally none of it matters bc of Dastmalchianβs hypnotic performance. Incredible.

the more I think about it, the weirder it is that culturally we have totally ceded this set of interesting books - at least as much part of our cultural heritage as the Iliad and the Odyssey and at least as rich and fascinating - to religion not literature and history.
