Love the 2 Hip Hoppers and I've never seen a Beats Working record in the wild. Got a few of their numbers on a couple of comps.
Tricky Disco ๐
Nice.
Essential for someone like me who was very young at the time and missed the first wave. Who are the Voidiods, Dead Boys, Flamin Groovies,New York Dolls and Runaways?. I'm about to find out. ๐
Evacuate is immense

Ace Raincoats, need U/You by Kleenex. Fantastic set Dave.
It's poo. The only redeeming thing about it is Ellen Foley. I was horrified to receive it for Christmas once but luckily I swapped it for Rattus Norvigicus with a kid up the street on boxing day.
Great set.
Ooh fantastic. I have it but no pic bag ๐. A very fine record. Thanks Mark ๐
What's in between Wyatt and Furries Mark?
Terrific
Fantastic Feelgoods ๐
Same here. โน๏ธ
That Kinks looks good. Haven't seen that before.
Great Kenikie Andy. Still searching for talking bout revolution.
All killer mate ๐
I have a few too. I bought a "mega rare" Coxone with hand stamped label and hand written title for 15 quid once. "Plays great" it said. Absolutely unplayable. ๐ ๐ฌ
Would buy and hope for the best. Would have to be in the 3 quid or under bracket though.
Still would buy immediately. The old singles seem to be able to take lots of hammer Mike and for the most part are still playable.
After finding out that most of our favourite Ska revival bands were doing covers that were impossible to find or too expensive for a young kid to come according this was so exiting. Like you say mate a gateway album. Definitely up there as one of the best ever comps
Probably the latter. They are Australian and were active in the 80s/ early 90s. I found another single on a website called it's Plankton Time going for 35 dollars so I can't retire just yet.
We have a category on here. Condition Reggae.
It's very hard to find Ska/Reggae in great condition.
I have one Gerardo. Absolutely hammered it back then. I got passed around a lot as was the norm back then so it's in pretty bad shape.
Gonna have to look most of those up mate. They look great anyway.
Cor! Train To Skaville ๐
Bakelite?
๐ sorry mate yes I looked it up last night for the first time. I remember I bought it with another odd single by Barry Plankton called the name of this band is.... but I can't find any info on the record.
The Punk 77 website has an interesting write up about them. That they played The Roxy more than any other band seems to be their claim to fame as it were.
You Mike
