Cars I've already driven/would love to drive in the case of the wee Fiesta. The white Civic is my actual race car.

This kinda race is what racing is all about. +0.034 kept me from this win. Damn. Still, what a race and what an iRating.
How soon can I get Santander branded Williams merch to support? The man and his dad have earned my fandom through having amazing attitudes through adversity.
For anyone who thought that @iracing.bsky.social is difficult, it's even more difficult while inebriated. I have had a few wee cans of apple cider and I'm feeling it. I can't imagine driving a real car while tipsy like this, even just a sim car is enough. Don't drink and drive. Just don't.
I authorise use of my content for racing/sim racing content with AI. I'm not scared of the big AI revolution. I'm going to avoid posting anything that AI could use to get my passwords, etc. all on my own like a big boy internet user. I recommend that to others.
And lastly, Carlos is smart and feisty. That's perfect for Qatar, a track with minimal overtaking due to downforce and dirty air.
McLaren hasn't brought successful updates. Ferrari hasn't needed successful updates. I seem to remember them winning the first race after summer break despite not bringing any updates, while McLaren brought the most updates and got my hopes up for a non-Max championship.
I think Ferrari might get the constructors' championship, really. They've simply got the better high downforce car for the majority of points this weekend, considering the sprint, rather than Abu Dhabi, with no sprint. Plus, Ferrari might be fast at Abu Dhabi, too.
We racing driver types never let it go without a fight. It's not in our psyche. I'm with Max on this one, not Charles...
#F1 being funny:
Chรฉco says "it seems like there's a strong smell of weed all around the paddock"
Franco; "if they test us, I think we will all give positive [results]"
Charles & Carlos;
And I mean, it's Vegas, whatever happens there, stays there.
Pierre Gasly's damage-free season shall continue, hopefully.
Well, he will keep trying. RB will naturally try to find the best rivals to him, because they'll score more points that way. Eventually someone will be better. He can't promise anything other than a concerted, strong effort.
Yesterday's iRacing races were among the best races I've ever had. Only one instance of car contact in the race I finished 11th, and that was just a sore loser. Just race clean, guys. It's worth it. P.S., I really need to work on my iRating but it's going in the right direction.

Hmmmm, I didn't know that. I instruct in a decommissioned Lamborghini SuperTrofeo that everyday people can rent for a business here in Canada and I did not know that there were 4 classes. What are they?
I'd go GT4, I'm currently really enjoying it, and it's not filled with unreasonable aliens like TCR. GR Cup is a reasonable soft reset start IMO, and should be rookie instead of MX-5
I am genuinely curious what an IndyCar driver workout routine looks like. I can't imagine the neck forces of Indy 500. I want to be that fit for my own racing career, even though I'll likely only go up to Canadian national level at the highest.

Understandable mix-up. At least it's not the embarrassed/embarazada mix-up in Spanish.
Never hurts to try!! Give it a go. I've gotten in as media into races I didn't think I'd get into as media.
I guess you need to get in as a team member or driver or something then. Get involved somehow. Volunteer as a flag marshal??
What are your favourite exercises for racing drivers? As in, what do you recommend to other racing drivers?
I no longer only get the opportunistic passes and overtakes from people making mistakes. I'm actually moving forward in races with race craft and on track, lap time overtakes. The me from 3, maybe 4 years ago would be proud.
Focus on solidifying your strengths first, then hide, cover up, or fix your weaknesses. You'll come out a better person in the end, but you'll never look that bad because hey, you've got a solid foundation of strengths to build on.
Tonight, though, I ran that 1:37.5 in iRacing's Aston Martin Vantage GT4 at Red Bull Ring - a lap time that just two days ago I was scoffing at, claiming it would be impossible. I'm finding pace. I'm improving on this aspect without losing the race craft/race pace. I'm stoked.
As a racing driver, I always thought that my strength was consistency but my weakness was pace. I have the race craft, the talent, the instinct, and the reflexes to be able to gain positions in the race but qualifying and outright race pace has always been a weak spot. 1/x
No, not yet, and I don't seem to have a button to create my own feeds. Apparently I might need to know coding and nope, I do not know coding. Anyway, I am a semi-professional amateur racing driver (I'm paid to do it so I'm kinda pro but it's an amateur series)
Is there one for amateur racing drivers, and is there one for sim racing??

This wee car is put away for the winter after a complete fiasco where the battery tender died and so did the battery. I had to gently push it with my other car to get it back in the driveway ๐คฃ
Hmmmm, I think I like driveable but damageable. MX-5s at Ledรฉnon, I saw people abusing curbs in a way that would Bend suspension arms in real life... Also the car felt nearly un-driveable and very different from its real life counterpart. Also the GT4s would have lost an exhaust with how they curbed
