They're making more space for Labour politicians.

The financial burden families face when they can’t afford school meals is real.

I’m proud the Scottish Government has wiped out nearly £3 million of school meal debt across Scotland - including over £400,000 in Aberdeen City - helping families and removing stigma for children.

Devolution has failed, because the unionist parties now see it as a threat to their ‘precious union’, and now continually contrive to make Holyrood fail

We tried Devolution, it will never work due to unionist bad actors, we now need independence

Keir Starmer accused of 'direct assault' on devolution after leaked memo KEIR Starmer has been accused of a "direct assault" on devolution after a leaked memo revealed him suggesting the UK Government should be…

"not only dealing with devolution in bad faith, but undertaking a direct assault on the democratic views of devolved governments"

The only parties on Scotland's side are the Scottish ones: the SNP and Scottish Greens.

Mr ap Iorwerth told the Senedd: “There we have it in black and white, Keir Starmer’s own version of Boris Johnson’s muscular unionism, not only dealing with devolution in bad faith, but undertaking a direct assault on the democratic views of devolved governments.

A leaked secret memo that Starmer sent to his cabinet says that the UK Government should directly spend in the devolved nations "even when devolved governments may oppose this.”

Labour has no respect for Scotland’s Parliament or Government.

It’s time for independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

He literally said Scotland should never exist. Then blames Scots for anti-English bias against him..

This memo was just 10 days after my newsletter exclusively broke the story that more than a third of Welsh Labour MSs had accused the Prime Minister of undermining devolution.

He then adds:

“We should be confident in our ability to deliver directly in those nations, including through direct spending, even when devolved governments may oppose this.”

As a reminder,🇬🇧 cannot decide that they "are going to rejoin". It is not in 🇬🇧's gift, not to mention that there's no "rejoin",it's not defined in EU Treaties. All 🇬🇧 can do is to apply to join 🇪🇺(again) via Art. 49,and then wait patiently for an answer (which I'd wager will be "No" for quite some time).

I don't think you thought this through: ban petrol stations .... ban oil & gas deliveries for heating.... ban food selling as you may end up with food poisoning....

Interesting result: Brexit increased immigration in the UK.

Few points:
- Non-EU immigration was increased by the Tories out of necessity. otherwise the economic shock was too high. This was not an oversight.

- The undercurrent here was a deep hostility towards EU and all Europeans...

Sizewell C is predicted to cost £38 billion.

For the same amount of money, you could install solar panels, heat pumps and batteries in 3 million homes.

That would generate energy locally, rather than put massive strains on an already overloaded grid.

Makes you think.

Two months until Scotland decides.

Stay stuck in broken Brexit Britain, or choose the fresh start of independence.

That wealthier, fairer future for Scotland is possible. On May 7, vote SNP to make it a reality.

Alistair Carmichael MP (Orkney/Shetland LD) on LBC re the number of Bailiffs being used by English Water Companies. He didn’t even mention Scottish Water as a publicly owned comparison. Unionists daren’t talk up Scotland, as it exposes their hypocrisy. Labour’s shame is Sarwar’s problem. Vote SNP🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Here are the reasons the UK Government health Minister refers to as 'Nationalist' and it's a revelation of his thinking.

The idea that Polanski and Farage are in any way similar is staggeringly stupid. The Economists masquerades as a magazine giving serious political analysis, nothing more.

I propose a new law:

Anyone who expresses support for an offensive war shall immediately be drafted to fight in it. No exceptions and no exemptions for any reason, including disability or service as a government official in any office. Presidents and congressmen shall fight in any war they start.

Many of us have been there: in the driver’s seat on a tricky hill start, when the engine cuts out and the car judders to a halt. Since the EU-UK summit last May – the event that was supposed to map a new and dynamic way forward – stalling is fast becoming a real risk for Keir Starmer’s most crucial long-term policy area: improving Britain’s relationship with the EU.

Today’s report by MPs on parliament’s foreign affairs committee rightly warns that despite the hugely welcome – and essential – progress in relations with our closest allies and neighbours, Starmer’s project is “suffering from a lack of direction, definition and drive”. If Labour is to deliver a growing economy, improve living standards for every UK resident and tackle the very real threat of Reform UK, getting the EU reset back into gear is a matter of urgency.

Naomi Smith in the Guardian. She has diagnosed the problem very well: Starmer's reset is losing blood fast and looks to be in trouble.

However, I don't agree with the prescription.
