Just released! Six Sonatas for 2 Pardessus de Viole (Op. 63) by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier. Première Recording. Premiere recording of 6 Sonatas, Op. 63, by Dialogue Viols, Jacqui Robertson-Wade and Peter Wendland Pardessus de viole. (modern edition published by Atelier Philidor). The compositions originally published in 1737 are exquisite and expressive and have not been heard since the mid-18th century since the engraved score has only recently been discovered (Atelier Philidor owns the only copy of this work considered as lost to date, and has restored it.)
