Yeah, I think a lot of new grads are in the same position, even in jobs that are desperately needed to the point my state is paying a portion of tuition off if you work in the state in that field. I am trying my best to stay out of debt (which currently I am!)

I got into the program and they only select 18 students and it is like the level below ivy league college (EXTREMELY difficult to get into) so I am sorta proud of myself. I think my bio bachelors helped??? I chose the program cause they work in research hospitals and like 100% get hired after.
6.4% is absolutely abysmal, I remember when it was 3%!
They need medical workers but refuse to hire new grads.... unless you somehow get experience (impossible cause all the liability issues). Anyways, I feel like my brain surgery really got in the way but idk seem like others are in the same boat.
I may be going back to school cause companies are now not training anyone for labs and they expect you to work for free during clinicals then MAYBE hire you. Just when I finished paying off student loans, I am gonna have more. Interest rates are like double what mine were when I was in college.

He has also been showing some dementia-type symptoms (yes, dogs can get dementia) for a few months now, especially around night time he sometimes sundowns a bit. If we do put him down, it will be at my house to make him more comfortable so I will probably be a huge mess for a while.
It's an extremely rare form of cancer and he is old so any treatment would likely not do anything, if not make him feel worse. He is 13 years and a few months old and still acting like his normal self for the most part but we can tell he is starting to get tender and bloated around his abdomen.
I don't think I posted this here but I found out a few weeks ago my dog has a very aggressive form of splenic cancer and we are deciding whether or not to put him down shortly due to the nature of the type of death the cancer results in (bleeding out and very painful, rapid emergency type death).
