added a day to night cycle so i can start working on the garden plants

trying out shaders for the trees and i added a flying animation

some more progress~

I've been learning godot for the past days. idk what I'm doing!

so far the player has walk animation, the fairy wing mushroom makes the fairy smaller, and the fairy wing flower makes the fairy go back to original size.

I was obsessed with jazz jackrabbit 2 as a kid. Never knew anyone that played it tho 😭

I found this at a thrift store and it was cute as is but I really wanted to turn it into a strawberry or mushroom cow 🐮

I had some little mushroom bits from my fairy garden supplies so that’s what I ended up using.

Made a crow for the maze 🐦‍⬛ He asks riddles about forest items and how the game works. Answer correctly and he helps you. Answer wrong and you’ll lose energy and it just might be enough for it to be game over.

The book shop is mostly functional now! Three books added so far, including The Ancient Oak in the Tendrilis font (by Anomalis). I’ll be adding a quest soon to unlock its translation. #gamedev

I finally got a pixel brush for Procreate so I could try sketching larger pieces. I hope I don't end up preferring this bc working on my phone is so much more convenient 😤
