What is common knowledge in your field but shocks outsiders?
The amount of electricity that electric lines/equipmt can carry decreases in hot temps -> the grid is less able to deliver power during heatwaves, right when people need AC the most. Most elec planning studies don't (yet) factor this in.
I'm also Ukrainian (now American too, but that came later). Ukraine is defending democracy and human rights for everyone and needs our direct and tangible support now, not later #slavaukraini
