my main point is that cryptocurrency is unstable and bad in ways that make it hard to accept when it comes to significant ecommerce. no matter where you look in this arena theres always a reason to stay away (list coming, character limit moment)

given most of the sentiment i see directed at furries, unless your goal is to try and run a dao with maybe 10-15 carefully vetted people theres no real reason to bring crypto or its attendant garbage into it

im sorry but the way crypto fundamentally runs (zero-sum nature, anonymous by default, no central resources) means that itll be way too easy for some grifter to just squeeze in and start making life worse. itll be the current situation, except more people are empowered to ruin it for everyone
