Yeah but when our guys get the ball into the box there’s nobody there really attacking it either. There’s no link from the front is what I’m getting at.

Nice work as per Prof! My suspicion when it comes to our lack of creation is the focal point up top. We haven’t had a striker capable of holding the ball up which limits us from going more direct and also means our attacking midfielders are more isolated. Solanke coming back will change this hugely.
Also. Still irritated with the ref. Once again sides allowed to be physical with us and we’re punished in return.
Awful he called Odobert Tel ages after Tel had gone off! Do dreads automatically make them look the same? 🤦🏻
Get rid of all immigrants and they’d quickly find someone else to blame. Probably the disabled. Issue is nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with the hoarding of wealth at the top. That only changes if people understand that a debt that is never going to be paid is not a debt.
Couldn’t agree with all of this more. I was broadly Levy out until binging the old PL years this summer. He really did usher in a new era and kick us up another level.
Poor showing but once again a case of a team allowed to be overly physical (multiple bear hugs on Richy and Kudus) and Spurs having no answer.
Watching now, nice to actually hear you as weird as that sounds!
Been saying the same thing for ages. The worry for me is that you get a large keeper who’s slightly crazy (eg Martinez) go full-on UFC and land a forearm to the head of someone trying to do this, leaving them seriously injured. We’d then get the big inquest and likely rule change, but at what cost?
Great piece as always Prof. I think the addition of a couple more players who can hold onto the ball further up the field will absolutely help with the issues we had late in last nights game. The one criticism of Frank I had was putting on Tel instead of Odobert who can carry the ball well.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 a fuckwit with a bit more money in my pocket over the years thankfully.
I happily downloaded music off Limewire, had a chipped PS1 and bought fake DVD’s back in the day. I absolutely will “fund crims” if it’ll stop me from paying an insane layout on something that should be way cheaper. 🤷🏻
What do we think about Eze then? I’m saying game changer, Frank will find a way to fit him in and he’s just a Spurs player isn’t he? Watch him to go Chelsea now though 😭
He also looks quite two footed which is the big thing for me!
More ignorance than legit racism I’d say as the same guys will cheer them like mad if they kick on! But the same ignorance also fuels Reform soooo 🤷🏻
When Spurs fans say a young European signing is generational but then say we sign a young Asian player “just to shift replica shirts” 🤔
A lot depends on the reasoning for bringing Frank in. If it’s because he’s flexible and a good man manager then 👍👍. If it’s because Levy thinks he can squeeze more from a threadbare squad than Ange then it’s a huge concern.
For me it all depends on the budget. Isn’t my money so if it’s as part of a huge spend that also involves a DM and LCB then sure, go for it. Spending most of the budget on him would be insanity though and leave us with the same holes we had last season.
Top thread mate. Don’t think I’d disagree with any of it.
I suspect Frank will bring a lot of calm but also a lot of quiet steel to the job too. Another side of the coin to Ange but not wildly different.
Agree and I like that he’s bringing his crew with him. Everything about him suggests he could bring real success. Just still cynical about the transfer market unfortunately, hopefully I’m proven wrong though.
Still gutted for Ange, but I’m hoping Frank just continues his work rather than needing to rip everything up and start again. Worried that we’ll end up in the same situation if he isn’t backed but hoping the club has learned it can’t leave big squad gaps or rely on anyone not at the level anymore.
Desperate for a win over Chelsea but yeah, Wolves would suffice, especially as a chunk of my family support them!
Should’ve said it was before the 1994 World Cup, not the 1998 one! Going into 1998 I was just gutted Hoddle dropped Gazza and Dion. Remember being crazy excited to see Marcelo Salas at that tournament though after he shocked me by wasting Sol Campbell in that friendly game!
My dad showed me and my brother Football Italia just before that tournament and told us Baggio was the best in the world. Never wavered from that when people said it was Romario 🫣 even got the Diadora boots he endorsed! Football Italia back in the mid-90’s was the absolute best.
I’m in full agreement tbh. The worry is that the pitfalls of Ange fall upon the same guys who’ve hired Frank based on his apparent ability to make lemonade from lemons when we really ought to be beyond needing that now. In other words if Frank has to rely on Ben Davies, he’ll probably fail too.
I’m delighted to keep the guy. Clearly a model pro for youngsters to look up to. But please for the love of god sign a better backup LCB so he plays in emergencies only!
Consistency in any area becomes much easier with a decent squad though. Ours was threadbare last season and the injury crisis caused the issues, not Ange and any lack of consistency.
That sounds genuinely scary mate. I’m glad you and your family are okay and it makes even more sense why you migrated here from MuskLand now too. 😕
Qualifying is season 1, WC2026 is season 2 🫣
