Just realized I never posted a final pic of my “Dreamcatcher” quilt! She’s all done now!! It took me 81 days to hand piece this quilt top. It’s now in a pile waiting to be quilted.

Penelope is all finished! Crazy how much she blows up under a black light! She took me 5 months and 2 weeks to hand piece and hand quilt it.

Cinnamon Mixture:
3/4 stick butter melted
1 cup brown sugar
2 TB Cinnamon
Make a paste. Add more sugar if too “wet”.
Mix and knead dough until smooth. Let dough rise until doubled and shape into rectangle. Spread with cinnamon mixture.
Cut and roll and place in greased dish.
Let rise until doubled again and bake at 360 for 25-30 minutes.

Warm:
1 cup plus 2TB milk
4TB Butter
Cool until just warm and add:
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
2tsp yeast
200 grams sourdough discard
3/4 tsp salt
Vanilla paste
550-600 grams flour
So close- yet so far. Two of the four corners are all quilted! Just the edges of the two remaining corners to go. Maybe 2-3 weeks to go until finish!! #tulapink #epp #lilabellelanecreations #handsewing #englishpaperpiecing

Like how to make a starter or a recipe using starter? I got my starter from Breadtopia about a decade ago because every time I’d try to make one I’d end up with mold!🤣. I’ve kept it alive ever since although sometimes it’s sat neglected and dehydrated for years!🤣
