Today on stream we made Spooky Scary Armature animation. Made fully out of Blender bones. #blender #b3d #animation #halloween #spoopy
just make it exist first
you can make it crab later
It strikes me that a not insignificant amount of people would want to be taken to Willy Wonka's taffy puller
Ah, so a fuzzy red-orange outline will work fine for that(!)
Not tall enough to reach up past one can's height?
The thing about black is that it can make other colours pop, and goes with any colour, so at least it's easy to combine
Happ biff!
No u ;p

Ok, first real Blender tutorial. I made this to help people with getting comfortable with moving around in Blender. Along the way you will make this thumbnail using your own character skin. youtu.be/Sw4k1I5Eh5o Let me know if this helped anyone that does not know how to use Blender at all

I can see the comparison, but they aren't an inspiration here. Any similarities are more just coincidence
A digital drawing of two anthro lizards with nearly identical linework, standing in a leant-forward position towards the left. The one on the left is green with blue countershading, while the one on the right is brown with tan countershading. The left one has an additional small horn barely visible. In the background are sketches of heads that lead to these drawings, rendered as faded out. On the top right the signature reads "Anvil 2025", an alt name of mine
This past month I've been doing some physical sketches every day. One surprising benefit was that I managed to get a scalie headshape I quite like. So based on that I then tried drawing a certain species idea I've had for a long time digitally. Far from perfect, but I really feel like I'm on my way
If I were to go back and do this again, I think I'd do a couple things differently. I'd make the stirring single handed, with the other hand just resting on his hip. The two handed stirring wasn't a bad idea, but I think the angle is wrong to make it look natural
This is something I made nearly two years ago. I should do more blender stuff, but I'm spotty in doing any of my hobbies. This has probably actually been where I've peaked so far in terms of blender, anytime I go back I'm having to relearn a bit xP. I will do more someday though

A final commemoration of completing BG3. Really the city would owe the whole party an entire set of statues but hey these two deserve the first ;p.
Now I'm considering if I can insert Yavatru into my own worldbuilding projects lol. It might be a fun challenge to "disentangle" her from the BG3 lore.
Now I just have to see if Yavatru doesn't worm her way further into my head and make me insert her into other things and have to transform her lore ;p
Love it! thank you DD. I basically see this as a work that the two would have got after the events of BG3 (or, was made in their honour). Mostly canonically to them in my head anyway. Fantastic work :ยฌ)
Two figures standing, Wyll and a githyanki named Yavatru. Wyll is holding a great swrod over his head in a defensive position, while yavatru is aiming a bow. Both of them are naked on a pedestal, covered in vines, the name on the pedestal reads "the lovers"
Censored version;
Cute lol
gonna get arrested for being too sassy while wearing a tailbag
I do have an old jetpack model from a while back I did...
a cropped screenshot of a blender viewport, showing two models again. both models are blue, with the model on the left being unposed and the work of th3pooka. the model on the right is mostly unposed, but the lower torso bone has been adjusted to a new position showing how all the rest of the body moves with it, the limbs pointing to where they began.
well that was a simple fix. just a simple parenting issue
an image of two minecraft style player models in blender. on the left a model can be seen unposed, the work of Th3Pooka. on the right another model can be seen, this one posed but with the torso completely detached from the legs. both models are blue with the bones shown in in a light grey
closely copying a friend's work (hi th3pooka.bsky.social) to learn how to get into actual model making and rigging in blender, and I still end up with random issues (he's been a great help though). I'm trying to just learn by forcing myself to do it even though I know the final model won't be good
