I have been guilty of this, but mostly with Cartoon Network. They had some good in-network ads. I do have a bit of a nostalgia problem. 👀

Just an addendum to the comment over on YouTube.. downloaded the video and imported it into Audacity and you can see the lack of waveform in the right channel for all but the beginning and end of the video. No idea what causes this but it's very strange. 😅
I somehow completely missed that it was the 35th anniversary when I saw the featured wiki page earlier, that's awesome.
It's Commander Keen 1-3's 35th ANNIVERSARY!
It was wonderful making them with John Romero, John Carmack, and Adrian Carmack. And heartwarming to hear fans loved them.

@thattomhall.bsky.social Thought you'd like to know that Invasion of the Vorticons is the featured article for today on @wikipedia.org 😁
I often feel like the weird one because I think their coffee is terrible, watery and and weak. Why the heck would I waste my money when what I've got at home with my cheap percolator is vastly better. I think people are just addicted to the extra crap they add to the coffee.
Happy anniversary to the fan-made English translation of Mother 3 (GBA)! 🎂🎉
Huge thanks to Tomato, Jeffman, and Chewy for making it possible. Even today, Mother 3 has never been officially released outside Japan. Thanks to their work, we’ve been able to play it in English!
I thought this was Pizza Pie from Baman Piderman.
I accidentally glitched out an animation I was working on and created a perfect example of what the passage of time feels like to someone with ADHD
As a former GameTap subscriber, this sounds about right. I subscribed early on, and then later on resubscribed for Sam & Max. Did find some great games I didn't know too.
As a current subscriber of a certain other company, GameTap gave you more bang for your buck. And they had a cooler interface.
A strange personality quiz.. I sound like such a grandma. 😂

It's never too late for a fourth season. 😉
I don't remember this Mario Party minigame.

Most importantly, without Pitch Black, we would never have gotten the MENU CUBE.
Thief II: The Metal Age (2000)
Have you never played Bubsy? For shame.
Ouch, realizing that the continuation to the MacHall webcomic, 3PS, is now nearly 20 years old turned me into a skeleton.
I know everyone is saying Megaman but I'm thinking Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers or DuckTales. Though they're all Capcom titles and likely shared artists.
I want the raw footage of this. It's too good to just be in 240p.

I'm just getting over covid myself after managing to never catch it up until now. Get well!
Strong Bad and Homestar Runner stand in a spotlight, singing on Strong Bad's desk. A little gold foil sticker says "25 dot coms" and text below them reads "Back to a Website."
Let's all go back:

An old cover photo from a 1986 calendar of an orange cat named Morris standing in front of a computer and staring directly at the camera. There is a crude green wireframe 3D model of a cat displayed on the computer screen.

I haven't played Minecraft in a while but this reminds me of the old Eldpack texture pack by @eldrone.bsky.social, which was my go-to choice for many years. Might have to play again when you finish.
Sam & Max is literally why I subscribed to GameTap back then. Discovered a few other adventure games on there I wouldn't have known about otherwise too.
Definitely not the norm, but my grandparents that were just a few years too old to even be boomers played and beat Final Fantasy VI together.
My boomer parents have always played video games but they've never touched a JRPG.
