Aw, that's okay. Essentially the character you play as is a priestess who uses innate magic to fight with the purified souls of enemies she kills, and progresses through the story to purify the blight that took over and destroyed the world. Those red flowers are similar to the blight in appearance

It's gotten to the point where I avoid most, if not all, sites with frequent spammy ai ads constantly in view because EW. Turn-off doesn't even begin to describe it, but the loss of arousal and immediate anger afterwards makes those sites fucking abhorrent to look at if I'm trying to jork it

This exactly. When I look to follow an artist or am already following one and all I see is a mountain of repeat posts with basically the same images and captions, it turns me away more than anything because for all I know, that's all the art they've got
