Work's been slow lately, so I my comms are wide open if anyone's interested.

I NEED people to understand these enemies are not inspired by badniks, but rather Metal Max bionic enemies.

The shades guy is based on Lorenzo Maggiore, a pathetic loser who invented the Bug-A-Salt, a toy for manchildren. The rifle is also based on this toy, mixed with a 40k space marine rifle.

With the 9 games thing going around, I think everyone should have at least one less mainstream game in their list. If I ever see a list that's just all the mainstream Nintendo shit I'm gonna roll my eyes, but thankfully people have mostly had really interesting picks :)

Experimenting with how I'd like my game to look.
Annoyingly the standard 16x16 tiles are a little too small to make the characters look nicely, so I'm gonna try 20x20 tiles, which might bite me in the ass later on.

In all fairness I wouldn't know shit, 'cuz even when I was on the show there was like negative amounts of communication with me.

I would not consider those games hard sells. One's a crafting game where you can manipulate the world to your liking, the other two are crossovers featuring already famous and beloved characters, which is an easy sell.

Coming to terms with the fact that eventually I'm going to have to market the game I want to make, and I'll be describing something like "reverse Starship Troopers with the gameplay of Metal Max, the JRPG where instead of magic, you have tanks", which sounds like something an insane man would say.

Please play Ring Racers with me, I put so much effort into that server.

I think I remember Gaia being kinda like that.
Also I'll always recommend Quarantine Crystal, it's a massively expanded version of Crystal that has all unique monster designs.
