I am not pointing this out as criticism of the actual movie because I didn’t go in not expecting that, it mostly doesn’t hurt the movie, Nolan was smart enough to go back in time again for that final scene. I just think it’s easier for Americans to not be able to see what parts of the movie

It implies criticism of the country’s past and its future but the part where even his enemies say he’s not a traitor and does love the country and he says he loves the country and what about this rising senator JFK and isn’t Opp winning the medal kind of a moment of triumph over his enemies.
