fyi to my fellow cosplayers on a budget: a bunch of the wigs I’ve gotten from LABEAUTÉ on the evil river site have been BLENDED FIBER COLORS 😍😍😍 and none of them have been super small or bad construction. they’re high quality enough that I, a known wig snob, make them one of my first choices

I experienced Amohigory precisely once, for one of my first costumes: a Punky in black for Melfina.

Did I style it? No. Did I brush it? Not at all. I tried it on when it came in, put it back in the bag, then shook it out the morning of the con.

RIP AMPHIGORY… I switched to ordering heat resistant wigs from overseas (Cyperous…) way earlier than most other cosplayers (2006!) but I still mourn some of the natural colors from Amphigory that modern heat resist wigs have no true match for.

This was a Linda XL in 24B with gold hairspray!
