Is it a textural/sensory or ideological aversion, or you don’t like how it looks, or something else? I have a bit of (a), a lot of (b), but I like the prettiness and artiness of it. I need unfeelable products though. I like eyebrow dye because I can’t feel it at all.

The weird thing I saw today was two fit guys without shirts in a car park … one posing against a brick wall, the other taking pics of him with a camera on a tripod. Not that weird. But by the time I left the carpark, photographer guy seemed to be taking close-ups of posing-guy’s butt… 🤣

Yeah I’d love to go to visit my mum’s island, Skopelos, and go climbing too… one day. I always prefer getting out of the city, wherever I go. I went to France and didn’t even go to Paris. Which might have been a mistake, but I did go to Verdon which definitely wasn’t!

Once I got the draw and rope on the anchor I poked the whole thing with the clip stick and the tangle on the other end came out. It hadn’t formed a knot.

So that was all fun. Today I’m sorrrre and tired.

Put my harness back on and clip sticked and jugged my way back up. I climbed a bit of rock too. The anchor was hard to clip because it was all wound up in the other end of the rope, but I got it after some issues (including the QuickDraw not closing and coming flying off when I pulled it.) 🤣

Had an exhausting but awesome climb outdoors yesterday. We did our usual warm up climbs, then I put a hard climb up with a clipstick and we had a top rope go on it, then when we pulled the rope the tip got stuck at the anchor. Oh noes…

Cool novel news is although it’s weird to be totally done with Staerstone after 5 years of commitment to it, I’ve rolled into the sequel, Staercrags, pretty easily. Still in love with my characters. Ready to make them suffer! 🖊️

Today my cat showed me a trick on my MacBook by sliding her back leg down the mousepad and switching apps.

I finished the last proofing notes on my novel Staerstone. Gulp. Publishing is definitely terrifying sometimes.

Maybe I should have let the cat do the proofreading, too.
