As Marcus Aurelius wrote in Meditations, people have always lied, fought over money, scapegoated others, and blamed everyone but themselves.
If the world feels dark, be the light.
That’s how we fight back.

'Hell begins with a grumbling mood, always complaining, always blaming others… but you are still distinct from it.
You may even criticize it in yourself and wish you could stop it.
But there may come a day when you can no longer.'

Context: this speech is from SIR THOMAS MORE, a history written, as near as scholars can tell, in the early 1600s by 6 or 7 people including Dekker, Heywood, Chettle, Shakespeare, and Munday.
It was never performed, because Jacobean England was a police state and it was banned by the censor.
I know we’ve gotten used to it, but this type of behavior is disgusting and people should speak up about it
For those interested in the mind-bending laws of physics, here's Richard Feynman to take you on a very clear, very understandable journey from Newton's grasp of gravitation to the concept of space-time and the reason for the speed of light.

Ian Austin, an Army veteran, was arrested for protesting ICE in Minneapolis. But he’s continued protesting. Senior reporter @julialurie.bsky.social spoke to him.
“When they say, ‘Why would you be out here?’ How the fuck could I not be out here?” he says. “My nation is under attack."

Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

I feel pretty safe in saying that Denton's Brave Combo is the only band to ever have been on The Simpsons and also to play a polka version of Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze.
