Everything is terrible all of the time now BUT this is one of many titles that seemed doomed to be stuck in a studio vault FOREVER. It's genuinely miraculous that films like this, MR. GOODBAR, THE KEEP, TIMES SQUARE + BREAKING GLASS are finally available on good formats - glimmers of HOPE, y'all.
