Did this oil painting to help me cope with the sudden loss of my Mom in April. I recently finished it and unexpectedly had a good cry. I am happy I have art as a way to escape and get lost for a short time each day.

My Mom recently passed. What better way to grieve, but to draw memories ✨
This was my Mom’s Chevy station wagon that we would drive on family road trips. Grandma would come with us sometimes, and my sister and I would be in the very back (before seat belt laws..)
