i mean a lot of the time i just find a fitting word/concept/phrase and go with that. ferin sisters swap au? canaries kinda fit that thematically. pd apocalypse au that heavily features ravens? a group of ravens is an unkindness. time travel au? an anaphora means you repeat something, etc etc
