The worry is Amorim is already going down the Ralf Rangnick route: shareable soundbites delivered as “home truths” that mask a failure or reluctance to arrest the problems.

Rangnick’s “open-heart” surgery comments came while he was exploring a way out. Amorim needs to show he’s up for the fight.

Oh I’m not saying it’s not entertaining. It certainly is. And the product is still very strong. But the overall quality of the teams is not great.
