Ruben Amorim has been terrible at Man United β€” it surely cannot go on forever | Sporting News United Kingdom There is a statistical argument to say Ruben Amorim is the worst manager in Premier League history. Manchester United's patience with him is remarkable, but surely not limitless.

Once more for those in the back

Books mentioning slavery, civil rights removed from shelves at Fort Campbell schools - ClarksvilleNow.com At an elementary school at Fort Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne Division, librarians are hard at work scrubbing the shelves for books that contain references to slavery, the civil rights movement...

This is where we are now: An elementary school at Fort Campbell has removed all books from its library that so much as *allude* to slavery or the civil rights movement.

The wholesale erasure of history in real time.

Ruben Amorim is right about Man United 'danger': His job is on the line if he does not improve things quickly | Sporting News United Kingdom Ruben Amorim took control of a bad Manchester United team and somehow made them worse. Sir Jim Ratcliffe will not have the patience to let him persist much longer without better results.

Ruben Amorim is coming across like Ralf Rangnick: firing out Home Truths while struggling with the day job.

It is, obviously, not all his fault. But he’s taken a bad team and made them worse. And he knows that patience is not one of Jim Ratcliffe’s qualities.

I had this on a ferry to the Hebrides in August and can confirm its god-tier status

The worry is Amorim is already going down the Ralf Rangnick route: shareable soundbites delivered as β€œhome truths” that mask a failure or reluctance to arrest the problems.

Rangnick’s β€œopen-heart” surgery comments came while he was exploring a way out. Amorim needs to show he’s up for the fight.

Oh I’m not saying it’s not entertaining. It certainly is. And the product is still very strong. But the overall quality of the teams is not great.
