I understand that in films like Django Unchained for example, it makes sense that racist crackers would use the N-word. But even in that movie it was used too much, on top of seeing black pain being displayed. Just… ugh!

Yeah. Most of his movies use that word way too fuckin much. It’s especially cringe when Quentin himself plays a character that uses the N-word, in a way that feels exploitative as Kory put it.
As silly and ridiculous the Raimi Spider-Man movies could be at times, the motivations of villains like Green Goblin and Doc Ock were easier to understand. And in retrospect, made these villains memorable.

Looking past the clickbaity title, this film including its sequel isn’t as amazing as I remembered. Andrew Garfield was a good Spider-Man tho. But if the stories were paced better, and the villain motivations made more sense, these could’ve been really amazing.
