Breakfast strata - using whole wheat bread I baked a couple days ago, roasted red bell pepper, gruyere, red onion, chicken breakfast sausage, baby spinach, fairlife milk (that extra protein y'all.)

Some TCM tea for "beauty." Jujube(Korean red dates), lily bulb, dried longan, orange peel, chrysanthemum, rose buds, goji berries, peach resin (rehydrated overnight.) Cheapest to get the ingredients at an Asian grocer. (Yes I need to deepclean my stovetop, stop judging me 🤣)

Once flipped, you get the caramelized brown sugar & butter so you don't have to add syrup to this french toast. Excellent use of homemade challah bread going stale.
