My compromise position on dealing with the dem complicity in this rise of fascism is that any senator who voted to approve Rubio can never again hold a position more powerful than city councilor

New rule: if you voted for Trump, you should be forcibly drafted and sent to Iran. That way the rest of us can focus on whatever it is we want to do. Ya’ll can go fight the war you voted for. Have fun!

I think these charts are lame because there are only 24 states in the sample, but it’s a little funny the group that does the least has the most Rs.

Every now and then, it's worth reminding yourself that every single crisis of Trump 2.0 -- the economic downturn, the chaos in our cities, the rising health crisis, the foreign wars -- has been a direct result of their own actions.

If they'd done nothing at all, they'd be coasting comfortably.

Bushra should have dropped out of this race. Now she's being used by a AIPAC to try to get Fine or Biss elected. Hope this was worth it for her to come in 4th place in the primary or whatever.

Am I being contradictory here, by presenting myself as a deal-maker and then recommending preemptive strikes? I don't think so. There's nothing really comparable to unleashing a squadron of bombers, but in the world of business sometimes you have to make quick, secret, decisive moves in order to gain a negotiating advantage. I've done so a number of times, in getting around the objections of would-be landmarks preservation people, in gaining the advantage in trying to secure air rights or a piece of property. Von Clausewitz also said that war is "a continuation of political relations, a carrying out of the same by other means." That makes a lot of sense to me.
Iran is even further ahead of the game than is Iraq. Within five years Iran is expected to have nuclear missile capable of reaching the continental United States.
Like North Korea, China, and Iraq, they've been importing crucial parts and technical assistance from Russia - today the world's nuclear Wal-Mart. Even as the U.S. has tried to save Russia from collapse with loans and IMF bailouts and political support, Russia has become the world's leading exporter of weapons of mass destruction to America's enemies.

β€œSmart” political pundits: Trump is antiwar

Trump in 2000: if I’m ever president I’m going to preemptively bomb the shit out of Iran, putting that in my campaign book so everyone knows I want to bomb the shit out of Iran

Dark money group offers influencers $1,500 for posts attacking Chicago Democratic primary candidate Progressive House candidate Kat Abughazaleh told MS NOW the secretive campaign is β€œfilled with false and defamatory claims.”

HOLY SHIT.

A dark money group, hidden behind a bunch of shell companies, is paying influencers thousands of dollars PER POST to attack @katmabu.bsky.social on social media a month before her election.

Thank you to the people who declined the money and went forward with this. So who's behind this?
