Both my parents had to work for us to afford anything, especially a house. So I think we’re kidding ourselves that it was “just a generation ago.” But also, my mom LIKES having a career🥲. I’m getting weary of us making it sound like having access to a career is a problem instead of cost.
Nearly 20 years late to the game, but I'm finally watching Mad Men and am on Ep 2. Some will know what a feat this is as, despite knowing and appreciating everything this show did for pop culture and television as a whole, I hated every character so much, I never finised Ep 1.
DHS claimed "an ICE agent had fired 'defensive shots' into Martinez's vehicle after Martinez 'intentionally ran over' another agent."
But body cam video now "shows that Martinez's vehicle, a blue Ford Fusion, was stationary or going at a very low rate of speed when he was fatally shot."

An error message on an iPad for Disney+ that reads: Oh no Disney+ has detected an HDCP issue. To try to resolve the issue, please try restarting your device. If the issue persists, try a different HDMI cable and/or bypass your stereo equipment by connecting the device directly to your TV.
Searched reddit and no one had anything to say about this error message on an iPad, but anyone have any ideas? Disney+ keeps throwing this error message on my kids’ iPad. No reason to have HDMI cable errors🫠. The iPad JUST updated to the latest update for iOS 26.

This is disturbing. The Chief Justice of the MN Supreme Ct met with Homan, worked out an agreement, and never announced it publicly. ICE appeared to violate it days later by violently tackling a person in the Gov Center w/out a judicial warrant. We need transparency.
