NBC News poll Voters hold negative views of Al. In fact, the only topics less popular in the survey were the Democratic Party and Iran.
Truly a perfect news alert
well obviously now I'm anxious about something else entirely π
Jinx the tabby bobtail lounging in her favorite box by the window.
I love when Jinx sighs. Like what is stressing you out my little fluffy unemployed freeloader?

It's impressive how glossed over things are even outside school. When I started reading up on colonial atrocities, encountered all sorts of stuff that never gets a whisper on BBC history shows or in well-reviewed pop history books by talking head pundits
Surely my four paragraphs of over explaining made clear that everything was fine with an implication that they should ALSO say it was fine
Appreciate the zoom/enhance you did
ugh, had to send an awkward message about something I'd been putting off to a friend and I can see they've read it but haven't replied yet whyyyyyy BUT CRUCIALLY they're not weird & anxious about social stuff unlike me so if I do anything to check Things Are Cool then it'll make me look even more so
"my equipment is immaculate, however the acoustics in here are absolute dogshit" I say to the moldering skeleton laying in the corner of the crypt, the thud of the bass vibrates his ribcage producing an odd hum, he stares at me blankly before giving me a thumbs up and shouting "is gΓΌt, yah???"
[shouting confidently from behind the decks] no I'm actually just playing shit music, but thanks anyway
aaaaaaaaaaaaa look at this little guy and his little uh feet? hands? paws?
They do click through on scams and think bots are real tho I bet ohhhhhh wait yeah I see it now
honestly it's even funnier now I think about it. crypto bro types don't comment or chat, they just shill their own scams. There's no community with them, just a bunch of Wannabe Captains Of Industry each yelling about their own grift, so it absolutely would have never taken off if it was that
Ear tipped brown tabby, close up on his face looking up at me. He's sitting up straight on the floor of my porch. His face looks srs but I promise you he is not that deep.
The face of a cat who just bit my elbow FOR NO REASON, and has no regrets.

If you have not watched Deadloch s1, then I strongly suggest doing so because it's great
pretty sure they're going to fuck _everything_ up
oh wait you meant the creators, not the protagonists
I went interrailing in the mid 00s. Got the train from Bristol Temple Meads to Reading, had a panic attack, then got the next train back. Spent the rest of the summer playing Metal Gear Solid 3. Friends still think I travelled around France.

also crucial note: I am not being all "why don't young people appreciate the music _I_ like as a middle aged person?" it's more just being interested in oddities in how retro cool seems to be assigned these days (why is italo having a continuing moment? I love it, but it's baffling)
The whole thing where old music is cool and interesting to young people up until a very set historic point (which varies slightly by genre) is both interesting and entertaining, especially in the way that things which happened _after_ that set point are treated as not existing
Slightly amused at a few UK events, largely aimed at people Younger Than Me, which seem to be targeting a sort of goth-adjacent scene and focussing on all the styles of music and vibes that broadly led to electroclash but without actually admitting electroclash already happened
