I care deeply about who Michigan will elect as Governor and send to the U.S. Senate next year, but I have decided against competing in either race.

This may be the biggest free speech crisis in living memory. The president now bragging about detaining a lawful permanent resident and smearing him as 'pro Hamas', no outlining any specific crimes he is accused of or charged with. This is what a fascist takeover looks like.
Authenticity and honesty.
That's why people connect with AOC. It's (part of) why people reacted so strongly against Newsom's podcast.
Be clear - "here is what I'm doing, right now, to save your jobs/healthcare/social security."
All I've heard, since November, is how Dems need to go on this podcast or copy/paste that strategy. It all misses the mark. You can't replicate someone's passion as a strategy.
Brian is the only person who has the right idea... right now, it's not about what polls say, but being clear and honest.
Gonna be on my best behavior about this one, but I gotta say - the most surprising thing about that podcast is how many people are surprised.
For me, fighting fascism has nothing to do with thinking I’ll win. I don’t fight because there’s an inevitable outcome, I fight because I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t do something.
