The Right’s pearl clutching over Biden’s pardon is hypocrisy defined. Remember, Trump pardoned Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, Charles Kushner, and is promising to pardon the violent insurrectionists from January 6th. So put your pearls away, Karens.

This is what I am talking about. The current President pardoned his son and the media wants us to consider his legacy at risk. Meanwhile Trump is putting together the worst cabinet ever assembled but let’s focus on Biden.

A reminder that most news organizations are for-profit corporations, and like most for-profit corporations, they answer to the 1% who own them. Increase profits, reduce costs. It has always been in their favor to have a chaos President like Donald Trump. So please consider where you get your news.

I want more of this. President Biden should really use these last two months to really push that Presidential immunity the Supreme Court gave him. Permanently stay all executions. Pardon all non-violent drug offenders. Legalize marijuana.

If you didn’t vote in this election because you are a one-issue voter, you did not consider every other person in this country and the many issues they will now face. We should not consider what we won’t get by voting without considering the consequences of not voting.

Communication is key. Messaging is what will matter. Truth is vital, but we must step up our game when it comes to communicating the truth. Early, often, loudly, and without compromise. We must be clear, correct, concise, confident. We must combat their lies with the truth, and we must do it better.

The next four years are going to be difficult, and Republicans are going to do everything they can to deflect all negative news by blaming Democrats. That is their leader’s MO: blame, blame, blame. Take no responsibility, and accept no fault. If things go bad, blame everyone but yourself.
