Hope the Irish are still saying this after the next game.

Rugby positivity mode:
This lot have utterly found out France, and have rattled the heart of them.
Then again Scotland coulda started Darcy and Jordan
If two teams lose the heid, the team that loses the heid second loses, the game was theirs, they gave it away, we didn't look like winning, and they let us !
*exclusively
Scotland at their best can be 101% the team France are, the issue is France are like that 80-100% of the time, Scotland are like that 1% of the time
Scotland's main victory tonight has to be making England so anonymous
Cmon bro it's enjoy the rugby o'clock! (Yes all of the underlying problems remain but we beat another rugby team and we charged down a 'sensible' George Ford kick !
(Ofc he was 100% right it's just that we are Scottish)
Scotland, in the pro era, have broadly been shite.
Those 'few wins' against England were inconceivable in 2017.
I think it's important to realise that this genuinely has been a squandered golden era for Scotland, there's no other reasonable conclusion.
Genuinely they must do. But it was collapse from minute 1 v Ireland Last 6N, collapse against Italy, hard fighting Vs France and collapse against Wales (yet we won).
Also for last week, we were only able to get up for it in the second half, and got so white line crazy we fucked it.
Good thing I wasn't planning on getting any sleep tonight anyway. Atleast I've got an uninspiring bout against Tonga to look forward to.
He is the manager, it's his job to ensure they're not mentally weak. He's created some of the biggest wins for us ever, but he's clearly fucking awful at getting us mentally prepared for games. So many of these players won their home league, why is Scotland different for them? It's got to be toonie.
it is shite being scottish
Scotland wtf
Toonie seems to have the smarts, and that's it.
It's still Scotland's mentality that's in tatters, but there doesn't seem to be any fix to it.
The thing I'd say to this, while it's still absolutely true, is that
1. We were due to tour NZ in 2020, but it got covid'd
2. The rest of the 6 nations must therefore also be playing those tier 1 teams, who could we have played if NZ wants to play France and SA are having Ireland and Wales?
Be interesting to see how it plays out across other competitions and in tests, is the cycle of defense & attack over ?
what a fucking win for scotland
22-38 lmao
#SHIT the number of times Sam Warburton managed to force 'alpha test' and 'USP' into commentary before the match had even begun. I guess his USP is incomprehensibility.
Seems like it's been made unavailable due to a claim !
Fair to say that England seem a bit like 2019 Scotland, a great set of parts, but a hope that the sum is worth more than those parts, rather than a plan to make that happen. Too harsh?
#SHIT dallalio shouting 'that's a penalty, that's a penalty' over the closing moments of the Bath/Clermont game so it's now immortalised in the highlights.
#GOOD and potentially standing order: Sione Tuipolotu
Rest in Peace Bill Labov, age 97
I didn't know him personally but I've heard so many stories about him as a mentor for so many linguists over so many years and my thoughts are with the people who did

Naw was home. tmo etc was harsh but we've won games w that being the case before, and it's out of our control, we were in control at the 60th, and we didn't build on our pressure. Maybe we would've gone up and still lost, but wanted to see more desire ig.
Legit the one of the bigger disappointments of my viewing career.
It's annoying, because the definition of a croc roll does have the word 'laterally' in it.
#SHIT the Edinburgh players, except Darcy
#GOOD the Glasgow ones.
