Sorry, I should clarify: fighting AI slop and bootlegs, not creating, but I'm sure you got that :-)
It sucks. On my to-do list - AI slop versions of the mother. Bootlegs. It's like the hydra, whack-a-mole...
I thing education of our audiences is the best weapon. x
I just found another version of 'Aderyn Pur' - me and the legendary Brian Willoughby at Pontardawe Arts Centre as part of our Very Hopkin show in 2015.
Brian played this at Festival Hall with Mary in 1972.
@maryhopkin.bsky.social was in the audience for this one.

Happy St David's Day to all.
Today, on our family facetime, Mary was recounting her school eisteddfod a.k.a. 'The Mary Hopkin Show' as she was kept very busy singing in most of the numbers.
Here she is in 1970 becoming a bard at the National Eisteddfod.
Happy St David's Day! Left it a bit late. But I have this postcard from my gran somewhere. We've all been up Snowdon. My mum's got a story about being inadequately dressed... but a bit less inadequately than this person.
The magic is how this kind of thing benefits the brain. Music and language share the same spot!
Etsy was supposed to be a nice wholesome crafty thing, wasn't it? Everything nice gets spoiled. Democratisation of the internet was a good thing but like everything, arseholes make it grubby. I'm sorry this happened to you :-(
But do you remember: "Nice backing tracks..." "They're Tony's kids, they can do whatever they want!" ๐
Oh we could write a list. "Play some hits!" some people cried in USA, then walked out just before we played The Man Who Sold The World.
An illustration of a woman in black funeral clothing standing amongst tall wind blow grasses and reeds. She appears to emerge from the reeds of an estuary or marshland, behind her a stormy sky, big clouds outlined by sunlight, her face is only partially visible as a veil covers head head. A suggestion of a dark Victorian house in the distance. Moody and atmospheric.
The Woman in Black.
An unpublished illustration I made for the book by Susan Hill.

Apologies for my petulance yesterday. Feeling confused. But I was buoyed up with teaching Alexander Technique at a new place in Newbury. Would love some more of that. It affirms me and the person I taught too!
You're wonderful. x
You're very kind, and I love your work too. x
Did I say I'm teaching Alexander Technique at Robert Fripp's Guitar Craft course in April? It might just be the coolest thing I've ever done. 10 days in Italy but in conditions which he says are 'worse than touring'. BRING IT ON!

Same goes for everyone I guess. My parents are overshadowed by Bowie and The Beatles. My brother and I are overshadowed by our parents.
More to the point, everyone is excited about our tour in September but no one wants to know about our own music or interests.
Such is life. We're all fickle.
Things I do seem to be a real struggle unless I mention
DAVID BOWIE.
Then everyone on FB goes bonkers and likes and shares and comments.
I wish DAVID BOWIE had publicly done Alexander Technique, it would make my life easier.
ROBERT FRIPP has and he played with DAVID BOWIE...
Tall red rock formations in Sedona lit by warm sunlight rise from a green, shrub-covered hillside. Dark storm clouds fill most of the sky, creating a dramatic contrast between the glowing sandstone cliffs and the shadowed valley below.
Big Vortex Energy. Sedona, Arizona. I love my Nikon so much that it let me snap enough photos from a moving jeep to make a panorama.

Yah, looks a bit snowy again back home! Enjoy the sun! x
This is awesome! What's bottom right? Some exclamation of frustration perhaps? When my dad did the Bowie thing at the British Library recently I took him to see the treasures - Handel and Beethoven and The Beatles etc. He loved it.

Fairly sure it tasted of paint stripper.
Also glad to see this old chum. Ye Boar's Head (spoonerisms applied) was on the rounds of my pre-legal drinking days. It was where I first had Diamond White (I grew out of that pretty quick!) The pub's gone but glad they saved Ye Boar.
Note that Halley's Comet makes an appearance. And the battle scene itself is really quite graphic. There's also a hint of a sexual scandal and a little man who has had shorts added where in the original he was letting it all hang out!
Inspired by the first (I think) replica of the Bayeux Tapestry in my own home town of Reading at @readingmuseum.bsky.social
Thank you to to Elizabeth Wardle and her 35 friends who made this copy in 1885-6.
Sponsored by Bayer and Norman Insurance. Inspired!
Nooo grout. Lots of silly-cone though!
Aw, I wish you had!
