Why would the government be upset with Superman stopping a war?
Because governments profit off of war, and most military conflicts have underhanded, nefarious reasons for taking place.
James Gunn’s #Superman is already shaping up as a film with something to say about the world.
Since some don’t understand Clark’s tone with the “People were going to die!” line delivery…
He’s expressing righteous indignation.
The subtext is “How is this even a thing? I did what was clearly right.”
He’s not mad at Lois. He can’t believe people are like this.

Yesterday we got a Superman trailer where we saw him portrayed as passionate, emotional, stubborn, vulnerable, altruistic, idealistic, resilient, and able to be hurt (without Kryptonite!)
For the people who say “He’s too perfect, and boring”…

It’s the melody that plays the first time we see the Daily Planet and Kal in his Clark disguise in SR.
When I 1st heard about #SupermanAndLois, I shrugged it off as "Just another Arrowverse show I won't watch."
Thank GOD I changed my mind and gave it a shot.
The series delivered the best live-action Superman story in 40+ years. And it ends tonight...

thing that makes my Spidey sense tingle here is that rumored Bane/Deathstroke movie.
It would mean that Knightfall had already taken place. So it’d be awfully strange for there to be a DCU Bane and an animated Elseworld Bane.
That’s why I think there could something here.
