I still haven't beaten it myself, but I started a new playthrough a while back and I've gotten farther than I ever did as a kid! It's such a unique game, very niche! I love it to bits.
I wanted to add Spyro the Dragon but the image was some weird AI soup, and I couldn't get Pokemon Stadium 2 to come up at all.

I'd say so! There's an active (and very chill) competitive scene that mostly uses DX's VS Mode to host tournaments. It's fun to watch even if you just play casually. The games are very charming, a lot of love was definitely put into the little details. Mix of cozy and combat. I'm a big fan!
