All five home runs (so far) by Oregon softball, by both lefties and righties, have gone to the same spot beyond the fence with the same step and swing timing. What a razor sharp scouting report on PSU pitching by the staff.

Ma'ake is 3/3 with a double and an RBI, similar statline to previous games against them, it's like she's on a mission to personally destroy OSU. Got to get her to Stillwater and Columbus this year.

11-3, 78.6% In the Galen Center

The pattern is meant to expose this tension and Perich is too locked in to see the bigger picture, while Raiola doesn't take the opportunity that the play is designed to give. Both are talented but could use more development - they've been asked to be superheroes, not soldiers.
Sneak peak at my transfer series starting next week: #15 QB Raiola sends a man in motion vs fellow future Duck #3 DB Perich in man coverage. The CB gives a switch call Perich doesn't get, so the slot is wide open, but Raiola doesn't read it in time.

A sweet Valentine's Day and happy 167th birthday for Oregon:
Baseball beats GMU 15-4, 14-4
Softball beats CSUF 5-4, UK 9-0
Men's Basketball beats PSU 83-72
Women's Lacrosse beats FDU 16-5
Women's Tennis beats UCR 4-0, Seattle 4-0
Friday's games were hosted at Santa Clara University, 10 miles away. However, because SCU needed their own park for previously scheduled games, Oregon's win over CSUF was played at 9am and called in the 6th inning while the Ducks were up 7-3.
Update: The Cardinal Classic is not being hosted on the campus of the Stanford Cardinal. Sat & Sun games will be at West Valley College in Saratoga, who competently livestreams all games on their channel.

Oregon Men's Tennis continues the Lord's work against Liberty:
Reviewing the film carefully is about evaluating the entire scope, from the wide angle, to make a fair, methodologically rigorous assessment of the exact ratio - who's responsible on each play for the outcome, good or bad, how often, and what correlations can be drawn.
The Raiola tape is challenging - the line fails too fast, defenses get pressure rushing 3 and a numbers advantage in coverage so nobody's open ... but Raiola also holds the ball too long when there is a window and he should have read the leverage faster. Often both are true.
All softball games at the Oregon Classic and Jane Sanders invitational in late February & early March will be available on B1G+, regardless of the teams competing.
Stanford University is hosting back-to-back softball tournaments over the next two weeks, but evidently lacks the technical and financial acumen to televise the majority of games - only games with Stanford's team will be on ACCN Extra.
If Coach Lanning thinks he can slip a MEAC defensive line transfer past your film reviewer while on vacation, he's got another thing coming. All 2024 and 2025 tape acquired.
I am supposed to be on vacation for the one week all year I don't have an article due at ATQ, but I've spent the last hour planning for tomorrow's planning meeting (π) because next weekend is insane for Oregon sports: MBB, WBB, WLAX, MGolf, WGolf, A&T, Baseball, Softball, T&F all in action
