A big thank you to all those who have been so positive about my new book. It's about how neurological patients can tell us so much about our selves, how personal and social identities are forged by different cognitive functions, and what it means to belong.
Hmm not quite. It was previously thought that emotion recognition is strongly related to one's affective state. Here we show it is strongly related to cognitive decline, not affective state, and to structural/functional changes in amygdala-orbitofrontal cortex. I agree we could've phrased it better
