P1 have worked very hard this week to create a Christmas handprint keepsake for their families! ⛄️🥰
We loved taking part in Christmas bingo and Christmas karaoke on Wednesday! 🥰🎄🎤
We loved making melted snowmen biscuits on Tuesday to enjoy with our Christmas film: Nativity! 🎬☃️
P1 made magical reindeer dust to spread at home on Christmas Eve! After adding all the ingredients, we had to close our eyes to make a special Christmas wish!🎅✨

Today we celebrated the final performance of our Nativity! 😄🎬🎄 The children have worked incredibly hard in the lead up to their show, especially over the past two days, and they delivered a wonderful performance for their loved ones. Well done to everyone, we are so proud of you all! 👏🏻🌟

For Book Week Scotland, we had a fantastic time being read to by PC Mark Stirling and our wonderful library leaders! 📚 We were especially excited to welcome Bookbug for a special visit on Friday! 😄

Before our individual photographs last week, I took the opportunity to take a class photo of P1W looking super smart! 🤩📸
Whilst learning about the letter ‘c’, we enjoyed lots of fun activities! We built cars from blocks, made curly clouds from cotton wool, read 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and enjoyed creating our own! We also completed a sorting task where we could only feed the cat pictures beginning with ‘c’! 🐱🐛🧁
Following the children’s interests, our home corner was transformed into a Costa Coffee shop! The pupils have loved taking on different roles, developing their communication and writing skills, and exploring money – all through imaginative play! ☕️😁
