New growth is red then slowly turns dark. I bought it as a tiny pup from etsy. Never seen one in a shop labeled ‘Black Cardinal’ though. Perhaps it’s actually ‘Congo Red’?

Hmm! I have a Black Cardinal but it looks nothing like that! Maybe it was mislabeled?

Hoya rotundiflora, teeny tiny fuzzy leaves! My most unusual Hoya, the leaves are dark green and squoval, thick and slightly wrinkly with the smallest amount of fuzz.

Hoya curtisii leaves are small and splashy. The new leaves are freaking adorable!

A baby pineapple! The background is blurred but if you look closely you can almost make out the second one in the upper left! It won’t get huge, but will be ready to harvest this season. I’ve never tasted a sweeter, juicier pineapple than home grown. No acid just sweet sweet sunshiny goodness. mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Here’s an updated photo for one of the two pineapples we grew for Plant Sale! After enjoying fresh pineapple from the grocery store we save the tops and plant them. It takes a long time to fruit but it’s so fun to watch! Available THIS WEEKEND at Grounds for Sculpture @gfs-nj.bsky.social May 3/4 🌱
