This GDC has really been about the pride I've felt in my friends and loved ones in the industry. Y'all are the best people I know and I'm so proud of y'all.
It's my birthday come say hi
Yeah saw this yesterday. Already hate it.
Work chat going well
Hey Everyone! Do you stream? Do you want a free game code? Reply to this to thread and I'll get you an early steam code for Where the Chips Fall if you stream it for @coquitogames.bsky.social !
Stopping on for a daily check-in. Hope your Saturday is achieving all you hoped and nothing you didn't.
Climate breakdown is occurring more rapidly with the heating rate almost doubling, according to research that excludes the effect of natural factors behind the latest scorching temperatures.

I am frankly more concerned about the apathy of the American public and even more importantly the lack of leadership in the Democratic Party.
This is not a dress rehearsal. Every single American must speak out against this Facist administration.
My favorite feature about Jack Dorsey is that he is eternally cursed to work on promoting technologies that end up serving people he despises. There can be no greater revenge upon a person with shitty ideas that labor all they devote themselves to turns against who they are in theory and practice.
Screenshot of an X post by Jonathan Lemire reporting that when asked if Americans should worry about retaliatory attacks at home, Trump acknowledged the possibility and said some people will die when you go to war. Below is a photo of Trump wearing a red βUSAβ hat and pointing.
This is what he thinks of our safety and security.
Pretty difficult to refute a single thing in this perfect assessment of where the f**k we are, from @iandunt.bsky.social:
Well, gas is expensive, and food is expensive, and weβre doing a war nobody wants, but at least there are no jobs
Should I make a Splinter, Radical Rat deck?
Strong women donβt ask the powerful for permission.
They hold them accountable.
Elizabeth Warren proves it every day.
Elizabeth Warren didnβt come to Washington to play nice with billionaires.
She came to fight for the rest of us.
#SheShed
#StrongWomen
this is the moment that gamedevs everywhere crumble under the weight of their own GDC ambitions
godspeed everyone π«‘ rest assured that no one is ready lol
See this is why I run trickbind in every deck I can.
Honestly that's one of the best feelings
It's going downhill
2026 nuclear family memeβ featuring Fritzi as Neurodivergent Aunt, Sluggo as Sluggo, Nancy as Daughter, Nancy Jr as Woke Dog
This is probably the exact reason tbh.
Help us get to 300!
REMAKE GOLDEN SUN YOU COWARDS
The way I cackled.
See my other post about Games as a Service.
It's giving weapons of mass destruction all over again.
We need a slur for corporations
Executives fail to understand this distinction and it costs millions not just to the company but to the very livelihood of the people who make the company possible. Smaller games as art will do more for most studios than Games as a Service.
I am also, grossly oversimplifying things here because of character limits. But basically you can't have 100+ lifestyle games as a service all succeeding when the player base is the same and can only pick one maybe two to dedicate their time to.
The Games as a Service model is dying because games, and I cannot stress this enough, are not a service. They are an artistic entertainment technology product. That distinction matters because how you sell and market games is closer to film than it is to software despite being a technology product.
