On one hand, someone in the honeymoon is still genuinely motivated and able to put labor in which really does matter and has results to prove it.

On the other, you don't know if the person will still be solid after they are no longer in love with their own resistance.

As exhaustion lands, folks that were successfully keeping their cool start lashing out, and things that were manageable during the honeymoon now require significantly more resources to resolve.

I genuinely don't know what the best practice is with this.

I describe it as "honeymoon solidarity".

Everybody focused, motivated, and in the present moment of it, they are ready to be the best types of people they can be.

The honeymoon period does mean people trust each other, forgive iritations, and put work in.

Just doesn't last.

Children fall asleep to the sound of bombs, empty tables fill homes destroyed by war and siege.

We are not numbers — we are real families trying to survive.

I hear acting overtly in the name of justice improves credibility quite a lot.
