On the weekend at the anarchist conference a young bloke pulled me aside and said he couldn't remember my name, but wanted to thank me for a conversation we had at a Palestine rally over a year ago as it inspired him to get involved in the movement and get organised. Moments like that, eh..🥹🏴
I'd lean towards Marxism on the questions of imperialism and war. Anarchist theory isn't really that deep and comes to (usually) the right conclusion on the basis of principles rather than analysis imo (and even then you get kroptokin, grave etc..)

2/2) Revolutionary defeatism is when you live under an imperialist/colonialist state and you do take a position on which state losing in a war between states would be beneficial for the class war within the state you live under, and a position on how class struggle relates to that war between states
