Earth Day memory. Jerry and me, removing overrun saplings from around a tree we wanted to strengthen and preserve. A line of children walking along the street holding pots planted with new tiny trees. Earth Day! Horrified stares from teary young eyes as J fired up the chainsaw, unaware. Oops.
