There are two things you can do right now to support young trans people in England.
1) Engage in political advocacy and community support. I've got *loads* of advice on this in my blog post and zine "But what can I do? How to fight the trans panic".
Did I ever tell y'all about the time I tried to join a kung-fu school? Travelled far and wide, met wise buddhist masters and saw dozens of martial arts styles.
But no matter where I went, I didn't see a single guard posted.

I talk about what actually happens when a trans person arrives at a prison.
I helped develop the world’s first ever policy for trans inmates 26 years ago.
I have also managed every female prison in NSW in addition to 5 men’s prisons.
In the last month, Marin has had their gender affirming surgery pulled out of reach, and now they’ve been laid off.
I’m doing what I can to support them here but if anyone has any help they can offer
I can’t bear to see them lose hope like this
