That was my takeaway too. Playing FF7R was not unenjoyable but wow that game is packed to the gills with Stuff. Bananza has a ton of content too but I never felt it overstayed its welcome.

Y'know, considering the relative ease of reviving characters in D&D, my players tend to accept it when a PC or an allied NPC bites the dust. There's never a discussion about trying to bring them back, unless it can be done right then and there via Revivify or a similar ability. I wonder why that is.
