Thanks!
im picking up what youre putting down here
i am in one cis male chatroom. recently a guy was dumped by his cis girlfriend. another poster suggested he was probably too nice and she felt like she already secured his attention and therefore got bored. i thought this was extremely fucking stupid. the time crystal is very complex.
i DEFINITELY remember feeling a lot like maybe my life would be better if i adopted some behaviors that were popular among douchey guys and unpopular among feminists. all i can say is that its been many years since it would even be coherent to contemplate something like that. this is by design.
i think part of it is shifts in culture? at least as i experience it. jezebel type commentary on any topic hasn't even graced my eyes in a super long time. and the relationship outcomes of people outside my high iq non-violent sweetie bubble are also invisible to me (unlike in school).
but yeah reading RtR I also get the distinct feeling that it would have been really idk salient to me ages 16-20 and now its mostly just like reading about some conflict between people you dont know and you are just trying to get the details straight
To be clear, this isn't really me saying that ghouls bullying lonely "nice guy" men have a point. I do wonder how much I have joined them. It's easy to pick on people who are low status, and there is really nothing lower status than for example posting about feeling like a disposable male.
My main feeling is that cis het dating is fundamentally quite fucked. If one isn't mentally flexible enough to... do something else... even though it sucks for them and they hate it, then I feel bad for them, and respect them less.
This is pretty interesting. I havent read these posts fully but I kinda know what you mean. I was a lot angrier about feminism in the past. Now my reactions (for example re "disposable male" poster from vibecamp) are in some ways closer to the feminist antagonists of RtR than niceguy protag.
my sexuality is like the opposite of fetlife ads
i can handle the truth
everyone on here is making me want to install threads so badly but i am not a phoneoid
does anyone have any japanese approval polling of shinzo abe that was conducted post-assassination? it feels like media opinion of him soured a lot after but i cant tell if thats just a western media thing. big if true
i decided to join blue sky when i learned twitter censors tweets for saying "trans" and then i joined a month later. what are some other anti-censorship platforms i should check out? truth social?
what about cross posting do people like that
