I've seen multiple tiktok videos recently of the most basic ass looking women building cyberdecks and it makes me really happy in a way I can't describe

they look like they'd have a live, laugh, love sign in their living room but they're shoving raspberry pis into polly pockets

when you have decent musical taste but you're not a "music person" then one of those hipster music types hear you listening to some "obscure" song & start trying geek out about the artist with you but you don't even know the song name let alone the artist, you just added it because you liked it

I wish I was likeable but that's too much work

it got to the point where my options were "mask as hard as possible so I kind of, sort of have friends but I constantly want to unalive or unmask and become a weird, off-putting shut-in loner

I get lonely sometimes but overall I'm a lot happier

a close second is the fact that I have such bad executive function that I'm rarely able to do the things I'm good at that I actually do enjoy

I'm just like this useless sack of wasted potential, which is fine but I wish I could give that potential to someone who could actually use it

sometimes I wish I could give other people my talent especially when I see someone who really likes something and they're putting genuine effort into improving but they're consistently terrible at it. meanwhile I don't care for it, almost never do it but I'm amazing at it

it feels very unfair

while I am more technically skilled than your average person I also tend to get carried away and break things, which ironically has lead to me being too scared to attempt things that I'm probably technically skilled enough to accomplish if I actually took my time

if you read the graphic novels you know that Michael Cera made zero fucking sense as Scott he just happened to be really big at the time

now Josh Hutcherson totally makes sense as a loser asshole who somehow manages to still be extremely charming despite himself
