You were just perfect. The best dog. The best friend. The best companion for life's adventures & for the quiet times as well. My heart is broken but I will use all the joy you've given me for the past 17 years to heal it as best I can. Know you were and are loved so so much.

Dealing with end of life decisions for my sweet boy today. We have had so many wonderful adventures. Absolutely perfect. So intuitive. No matter how often you deal w/this it is devastating. 17 amazing yrs. Doing hospice care. He is still wagging his tail, but time is growing short. #dogs are perfect
? I know back in the dark ages you had to have one of those separate loop antennas to receive uhf signals if that helps?
Thanks! I'm always suspicious when pundits imply that folks are only motivated by one issue. People are so much more complex than that.
The world is a huge place with (I assume) millions of things going on every day that could be considered news worthy. Almost none of it is available through broadcast journalism, but we sure have the murder market covered.
Unfortunately had to work, but tried to listen to streaming coverage. Most was the regular paid to comment babble, but 1 argument was that those attending were there to save democracy & not to protest tariffs & "kitchen table" issues. I assume it was both? Did you get a read on this having attended?

Exactly! I see people in my field constantly complaining about client loyalty & always blaming it on others undercutting their prices. Yea thats a factor, but if you build a good relationship folks will go out of their way to support you. That doesn't mean let them walk all over you, just be nice.

Very trivial, but the new "Maverick" brand transition at kum & go"convenience stores is not great. Lots of sizeflation & requiring of punch cards. Self checkout at the main register? No, thank you. I don't want to wait while Bill tries to deduce how to ring up his coffee & hot dog. #iowa

Rain, rain, rain. It's been a terribly dry month. Even when there has been a bit of precipitation in the area it has mostly skipped us over. Finally we have rain!

Random thought: In both fictional & nonfictional crime stories detectives are often tipped off by the smell of bleach. Why aren't more criminals using plugin deodorizers / oil diffusers & wiping back over surfaces with smelly cleaners like Mrs Meyers?
Have been dwelling on this a bit. How almost everyone & everything keeps deteriorating. It's slow enough that you don't always notice it in the day to day minutia but the accumulated pressure has building so once you start looking it's everywhere.
The email I just got from Hulu Disney informing me of a price increase was particularly ill timed. Last week was a real doozy for me & I felt conflicted that I didn't find the time to cancel then. I love me some Only Murders in the Building, but I think I will live without it.
Several streaming services I have subscriptions for have added commercials. Now they are all raising their prices. A good reminder that I really need to cancel most of them. I just don't have the time to watch more than a few hours most weeks anyway.

Diagnosis is new battery. I am skeptical & think it's the alternator &/or starter. Much cheaper if new battery solves the problem. 🤞
