For the international community E1 has symbolized the red-line. If it is constructed Israel has killed the 2state solution. Unless states react now - and not just with empty statements - then Israel has once again called the bluff.

The question exhausts me because the answer is that I don't know, and it is far too late. The offical Palestinian deathtoll stands at over 57.000, with research points to 40% underreporting.

Forced displacement is now official Israel policy, and the refugees will not be allowed to return after the fighting. And all the while Israel is enforcing a policy of starvation against Gaza.
