What a game
What a game
I think itโll be Miller
Putting on my Freud hat. I feel like Chris Paul and Wemby being ejected for trying to cheat the skills competition happening on the same night there were 3 glove drops 15 seconds into USA-Canada says a lot about the psyches of NBA vs NHL players right now.
63% of the season is through, and Forest are 3rd in the table. #PinchMe #COYR ๐ณ
Lot of discourse about Jim Knowles leaving OSU for Penn St, but not nearly enough discussion about how silly it was 10 years ago when a LOT of people argued that if players started getting paid, coaching salaries and facilities spending would plummet. That there wasnโt enough money for it all.
COYR!๐ณ
Ola Aina you beautiful man

โHe was wrapping him up earlyโ - Sean McDonough about a linebacker who has his arms very clearly completely to the side through the entire contact
Will Howardโs best ball of the year
Texas and Tennessee haven't even played yet and the SEC is already the biggest winner of the weekend for next year's playoffs.
Top 4 at Christmas. Am I dreaming? #COYR ๐ณ
Boly putting in some great minutes to secure the win. Amazing match, hard to believe how far the juxtaposition from this time last year. ๐ณ๐ด#COYR
Rhythm is a dancer, Anthony Elanga
A tale of two headers. What resolve by Forest #COYR ๐ณ
I feel like he doinked that kick in on purpose just to piss everyone off
All Mets fans the next time they get to talk to their Yankee fan friends
First year in the Big Ten and Oregon are champs. First year in the Big 12 and Arizona St are champs. The failure of the Pac 12 to save their conference on the heels of one of their best football seasons ever, will be studied for decades.
From fighting off Luton and Burnley, to getting wins at Anfield and Ole Trafford. What a difference a year makes. #COYR ๐ณ
Not impactful there, but I think the league should really consider changing the rule so 10-second runoffs are not required when itโs an expedited review. Just feels like a punishment to the trailing team for the referees doing a poor job.
I don't have a problem with Bama being ahead of Miami. I'm a little confused why Ole Miss and South Carolina aren't also ahead of them. And I continue to think BYU is being unfairly treated for playing a bunch of close games. Beating SMU is one of the best out of conference wins for anyone this year
They might make a run in the playoffs, but to me anything short of a national title and Day should be gone. Thatโs a high standard, but this is Ohio State, and as Day says, the Standard is the Standard. Heโs had enough time to meet it and he has yet to do so.
The Buckeyes just donโt seem to have that same emotional connection for whatever reason. And I think the stems from a staff and a head coach that fears the consequences for losing more than he does crave the feeling of victory.
There needs to be fury. There needs to be anger. A few guy exhibit that like Sawyer, but itโs not enough. Michigan players are on the field crying tears of Joy after they win.
They get on Twitter to talk after the game and fight on the field after the game is over instead of dominating a lesser opponent on the field. The team clearly cares for each other, but that isnโt enough to wing big games.
Thereโs no doubting that those guys care about winning the game, but they just donโt get it the same way Urban or Jimโs players did. They care more about being criticized instead of worrying about kicking the shit out of a Wolverine standing across from them.
Instead of looking within to see why that is, theyโve adopted a โWoody against the worldโ mentality instead of Ohio against the world. Itโs a bunch of guys who donโt fully understand what this game means and why the fan base is so angry all the time.
I think they couldโve won those games, but definitely donโt think they shouldโve been expected to in hindsight. He doesnโt meet the moment. He feels the pressure from the fans who have turned on him and his team.
That doesnโt mean those arenโt good wins, but it does mean theyโre wins OSU should have. I donโt think OSU shouldโve beat Oregon this year, Michigan in 2021, Bama in 2020 or Georgia in 2022.
