Anyway here's a little sketch I did during a meeting this afternoon

Oscar and Selwyn

2022: Ref sheet of an anthro hyena named Kain. There is a front, back and side profile of the character as well as an 'action' shot of him writing a name on a take out coffee cup.

2023: Standing pose of an different design for the same hyena. He is skinnier, and holding a cigarette.

2026: Standing pose of the latest design for Kain. He is wearing briefs, and is bleeding from his arm and nose.

Every so often I like to confirm to myself that I have improved as an artist.

I want to put more red on his patterning but I'm not really sure where it fits

Yeah it’s virtually the same I think. Mine has a stainless steel filter (the idea is to reduce waste I guess) but it’s a fuckin pain in the ass to clean, and I feel like it’s not filtering quite well enough so I might just swap to paper anyway
